On August 21-22, the National First Symposium on the Construction of Smart Water Conservancy in Higher Education Institutions was held at Hohai University, hosted by Hohai University and organized by the School of Water Resources and Hydropower. Wang Hao, an academician of the China Water Resources and Hydropower Research Institute and the CAE Member, Cai Yang, director of the Information Center of the Ministry of Water Resources, Dong Zengchuan, secretary-general of the Steering Committee for Water Conservancy Teaching in Universities of the Ministry of Education, Huang Yan, deputy chief engineer of the Yangtze River Water Resources Commission, Xu Qing, deputy chief engineer of NARI Group Co., Ltd., and Zhao Zhiyong, chief information officer of PowerChina Kunming Survey, Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., attended the opening ceremony and made invited reports. The opening ceremony was presided over by Wang Yuan, the dean of the College of Water Resources and Hydropower.
